Things I learned at speech/debate this weekend:
people don’t know who Aung San Suu Kyi is
if the opp contests your definition of this house, accuse them of ethnocentrism (ha ha)
open parli final rounds are intense
and sometimes people walk out of rounds??? (DRAMA)
there are people who know enough about Estonia to roll out facts off the top of their heads
parli will never stop making me feel like an ignorant dumbass

I’m at a swanky hotel right now because there is a speech & debate competition this weekend. I’ll get back to messages/emails/commissions/art obligations as soon as this is over!
Also I am totally stealing Kenny’s laptop right now. I am the most resourceful person in the world.
There was a blackout for two and a half hours
So my family decided to go get dinner out but the lights were still off when we got back
