All the Doctors, aww yes~ I really need to continue watching William Hartnell’s run but I really don’t want to watch Susan leave so I’ve been sort of putting it off for months.
And I’m not gonna lie, my drawing of Tom Baker freaks me out.
Poster for summer con season!
You see this moment? This is the most human thing we hear the Doctor say, here he is, without a plan, without any idea on how to stop the Reapers but he takes the time to talk to this young couple.
He admits flat out, flat out that he wants a human life, that he would be perfectly alright with living a domestic life, hell, even wishing that it was like that.
This is how a soldier who has just returned or is on temporary leave from the battlefield feels, the Ninth Doctor was the soldier who was tired of fighting and by Father’s Day, he wanted it all to end.
This is why I love this incarnation of the Doctor, that even though he’s fought and lost a war, he’s willing to jump back in to save our specie, even if it isn’t his own. All I can say is, if the world was in trouble, I would hope that it was this incarnation on the front lines.
Nine, the warring Time Lord, and my Doctor. I say that with unrelenting pride. -raises a fist up in the air-

#4 - the empty child & the doctor dancesI love Nine. This scene may or may not have made me tear up.
This scene is even more heartwrenching for me after having seen Classic Who and realizing how very rarely it is that everybody lives.
Basically the second time watching it, I was sobbing at my mom “EVERYBODY LIVES, MOM. EVERYBODY LI-HI-HIVES.” and she was like “Okay, Hannah.”
Ugh, favorite scene in all of my Who watching. Sobbing into my keyboard.
ONLY NINE AND NO-ONE ELSE.
It’s a bit creepy.
However. u.u That’s the best gif folder EVER.
